In my previous reflection upon my castle museum project I was experimenting with backgrounds and the layering of this and my drawings. Since then I have produced a development of work, I have looked at the specific shapes, line and marks within my inspired collection within the museum and my drawings.

For this development of work, I have mainly focused on the use of media, material and different marks to reflect upon my chosen area of focus. I am pleased with these images as I feel each one creates a different feeling and mood, I have interpreted these images with an abstract approach as this is the style of work I prefer to work in. I like the layered of plain colours with the variety of marks using pen, paper and paint. I have created some pages with purely paint using differne tobjects; rulers, cardboard and the ends of paint tubes to give a texture to the page, others with both this technique layered with pen marks to reflect the specific marks within the shells, plants and crystals within the castle.
