stripes and checks//knitting

For the stripes and checks project our workshops are based on knitting, translating our drawings and sketches into knits. My inspiration from this project is simply the textures and patterns of the urban environment situated in Sheringham, I've taken photographs of pavements, brick walls, windows, and overall interesting parts of buildings and the town. I think that this provides me with a clear starting point and a variety of images that I can work from.
