IINTERIOR DESIGN - WORK PLACEMENT/EXPERIENCE

As part of my project, some sort of work placement/experience counts as part of this unit. Interior Design is the main aspect of textiles design that I enjoy the most, I like the idea of being able to design an interior of a home, shop, building etc suiting to the customers exact expectations and desires. There are so many aspects of an interior space that need to be taken into consideration, so many different designs of specific objects, this broadness of design inspires and excites me. I have previously completed a week of work experience with the interior design Morag Christy when I was in year 10 of high school, I had a very good, enjoyable experience with this, therefore have contacted her for my current work placement, she has agreed to enable me to see how she approaches projects, and the process of this. I am extremely excited to complete a few days each week, being able to experience the reality of being an interior designer.
