I have done more sketchbook work within my own time, keeping to the inspiration of my chosen buildings.

I've kept the same style of using paint, pens and paper to create my work because I feel it can help with looking simplistic and abstract, the modern flat buildings are very simplistic looking to create the modern, new look. I've analysed these flats and taken shapes from the windows, doors, panels on the exterior to create these drawings above, it's mainly made up of rectangular and square shapes, however I've altered this a bit and tried to make it look a bit more bright, vibrant and fun by cutting shapes out of pages to create the layering effect and drawn 2/3 lines over the top of one shape. Although this abstract, simple work reflects part of the buildings, to improve I feel I could place these images onto a more vibrant background, or even draw the building itself as an image and layer this with shape and pattern.

Moreover, I have created more pages like this:

I haven't kept to a specific colour palette as I'm incorporating two buildings into one sketchbook, each having different colours. I prefer these images above compared to the first set of images as I feel they reflect the building more with the specific shapes and layering. The top left image in this section is much more neat and accurate looking compared to the one on the top right, however, I like both of these styles and feel they both portray a sense of the chosen building and sense of design.
