For the current repeat print project, it is suggested to look at colour trends/ colour forecast of what colours are going to be in fashion and in interiors within the coming year. There are a few different colour palettes suggesting the different types of shades of colour that are going to be seen throughout fashion and interiors within 2019.

Looking at 'Pantone.com' I have found several different colour/mood-boards of the colour trends that are going to be in fashion. They've shown that there are two main colour palettes for the season, 'Cravings' and 'Classico', "The shades in “Cravings” are meant to tempt the eye “as well as the taste buds with spicy reds, sweet flamingo orange and rich purples.” Allusions to ‘fetish foods,” such as peppers and chocolate, are tempered by the warmth a neutral Cappuccino shade and a grassy green shade. Think bright red statement furniture and all the goodness of maximalist joy." And then it states that, "The hues of “Classico” skew more elegant with a nod to style fundamentals. This is the palette where “a graceful swan white" and shades of camel pair perfectly with deep teals, grey flannels, burgundy reds, and caviar blacks." Both palettes are based around specific colours, however different shades of the colours to create a contrast and more exciting colour palette, a mixture of lighter and darker tones, the 'Cravings' palette is a more bright, vibrant colour scheme, whereas the 'Classico' palette creates are more deep, dark and simple colour scheme.

Looking at both of these colour schemes I have created a palette of my own to reflect these:
