Today I got to Morag's and the first part of the day was sending e-mails of bathroom units to a client and then printing these out to keep as a file and to have this information printed onto paper rather than just on her iPad. Once she had sorted this paperwork, we headed out to Morston, along the coast to a large holiday home that will eventually be used as this but also as a house for the owner during the year. The whole house had been stripped of everything, the main reason we went over was because Morag had previously seen an oak table that she felt would look nice in this space of the kitchen/diner, she had taken the measurements for this table to see how it would sit within this area, however, it was slightly too big as next to this would be an island for the kitchen and they would be too close. Therefore Morag decided she could make the island smaller, following from this we went to look at the table at the recreational yard, here we saw the table she had originally seen but also another one that was just as nice and slightly smaller, we measured this up and jotted down these measurements so that when we go back to site we can see how this would fit. A major part of this job is to measure up the space so that furniture, cabinets etc will all fit correctly and being accurate with measurements.

After this, we went to Norfolk Oak in Fakenham to look at Naked kitchens and speak to an advisor, here there was a small showroom of kitchen examples, Morag had already measured and chose what kitchen she wanted for this house so that made it easier to get it done. Morag was going for 4 different shades of a specific grey for the ceiling in the house, the skirting, wall panels, the walls and the doors, she was then thinking about doing the kitchen cabinets a similar colour. They recommended for Morag to order what she wanted online as she already knew what exactly she wanted, on this we could choose exactly what sort of cabinet she wanted, colour of the oak inside of the cupboards, colour of the cupboards and whether she wanted panel or framed looked cabinets. Once we had been there, we headed back to Morag's house and rang a shower company to check if a shower panel was available with black hinges (to match black oak toilet seat). Attention to detail.

Throughout the day Morag saw and spoke to a numerous amount of people, however, greeted and treated them in the same way, friendly and polite, treats everyone the same as she would her clients, this enables her to keep good relationships with companies and customers, makes it an easier environment to work in.
