Sublimation Prints

For these sublimation prints I made my designs on photoshop and illustrator by drawing designs, scanning these into my computer and editing them to change the colours and make them into patterns. From then, I put them onto a memory stick, saved them as a 'tiff' file so that the file is big enough, this then gets sent to the digital printer, and printed onto a special paper that I then placed on top of my fabric in the heat press for 60 seconds, the heat enabled the design to transfer onto my fabric. This technique is easy and a quick process once you have your design. Although this was a good experiment, I feel I could make my designs more advanced and busy, by adding more mark makings and drawing into the negative spaces, this could create a more interesting design, the quality of drawing could also be better as it's quite simple. Most of my prints are similar as I have only really changed the colour and scale, to improve this I could develop my designs and change them so that every print is different.
