Before breaking up for the easter holidays we all decided we'd go away and each research certain topics; mine was to look at the specific areas in which human trafficking is happening, I found a list of the top 10 countries to have the worst human trafficking occurring:
1) Equatorial Guinea
2) Eritrea
3) Iran
4) North Korea
5) Central African Republic
6) Mauritania
7) Syria
8) Algeria
9) Guinea- Bissau
10) Russia

I also had the role of choosing the colour scheme, the original colour scheme we had chosen (on my previous blog post) I felt was too small, there wasn't enough colours to experiment with, therefore I added a few extra colours in, a light blue and the 'blue tartan' original blue colour to keep this tradition within the designs.
Furthermore, although we had originally decided on the main idea/theme on loss of identity, looking at the people that have been trafficked and wha'ts happened to them, we decided to focus on future victims, looking at ways to stop human trafficking from happening and prevent this. Young people travelling is a major key audience for our group, as some people are unaware of the dangers they can be headed towards, making an awareness of this will prevent this from occurring. Although this idea has stemmed from our initial idea, it makes more sense to target future victims rather than the people it has previously happened to, making people aware of the actual topic and the correct helpline numbers to call.
I feel that finding out these helpline numbers, using key words and statistics of human trafficking within my designs will be a key feature; making the target audience aware of telephone numbers, how realistic and dangerous human trafficking is and to be careful when travelling to new countries.
