When we first decided on our topic of identity and raising awareness of human trafficking for young females, I originally struggled with knowing what to draw, however after looking on Pinterest several times, I found images relating to this topic, which I then drew from. I have mainly drawn maps and the lines and grids within these, making these into digital prints. I feel I have focused more on my digital prints and samples compared to sketchbook work, this was due to stress and lack of time; I wanted to have physical samples finished so I didn't have to worry. However, this then led to my sketchbook work not being to the standard it could've been if I had of started on it sooner and spent more time drawing and visualising before making my designs. I feel this has pushed me back from my full potential and I could've made my drawings and sketchbook pages more interesting and diverse, as they're all quite similar.
Also, due to not knowing what to draw, I mainly made collage designs rather than just drawings, using my digital designs, colour scheme and line drawing. My sketchbook work does inform my practical work, however, overall I feel this could be improved.
I have kept to the chosen colour scheme of our project; pink, yellow, blue, sage green, dark blue and black. I have tried to create contrasting effects with the use of colour and thickness of line drawn against each other. I have used my main style of abstract within this project as I do feel it works well, targeting the audience with fun, vibrant, appealing designs.
